October 27, 1922 June 11, 2014. We appreciate the outpouring of love and support upon the transition of our mother, and grandmother, Ruby Dee. A public memorial celebration will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at the Riverside Church. The service will feature tributes and reflections from family, friends, and colleagues who were influenced by her outstanding life and work.
